Company founded
‘Build an attractively priced family home efficiently’ was the first slogan that defined the Betard brand strategy. Even though it was back in 1989, we still adhere to this philosophy and pay great attention to promoting efficiency and constantly improving the quality of our product offer, no matter how much time has passed or how different the scale of our projects has become. The offer has expanded significantly since then - thirty years ago, it focused exclusively on repetitive wall and ceiling elements and was soon to be expanded with a series of road elements. Today, our offer includes over 300 products dedicated to all types of construction and technological lines that allow for the production of non-standard prefabricated elements for individual orders from customers.
Construction of the headquarters
In 2009, Betard already had three branches - in Długołęka, Gołogłowy and Wieruszów. Due to the significant increase in demand for concrete prefabricated elements and the desire to develop the company's competences, we decided to expand our headquarters. This allowed us to significantly expand our design facilities, logistics department and sales team. It also allowed us to increase our technological facilities and production capacity, and thus meet the demands of the market and the dynamically developing investments in the region and the whole country.
Partnership with speedway
In 2010, a new chapter in the company's history began when we became a partner of the Wrocław speedway team. This innovative move at the time brought the company additional recognition and opened up new development opportunities. Today, as naming rights sponsor, we work with Betard Sparta Wrocław to win Polish Championship medals, train the next generation of talented riders and entertain fans from Wrocław and all over Poland. We also make a significant contribution to the expansion of the city and club infrastructure by providing concrete solutions during the upgrade of the western stand of the Olympic Stadium.
Przywory plant
In 2014, a new branch was opened in Przywory, in the Opolskie province. This is the company's fourth site; it specialises in the production of reinforced concrete elements such as walls, pillars, foundation elements, beams and filigree ceiling slabs. Today, the Przywory branch is responsible for the production of more than 4.5 thousand bar elements (columns, foot-bolts, beams) and more than 5.5 thousand wall elements (sandwich walls, single-layer walls, large retaining walls) per year. It is now the company's second largest branch, after Betard's headquarters in Długołęka.
Prestressed technologies
In 2018, we decided to invest in the development of new technological lines for the production of prestressed elements. This allowed us to expand our offer with new prestressed concrete prefabrication products, including HCU hollow core slabs, girders, purlins, prestressed beams and TT slabs. We are now able to serve both the largest domestic investments and provide solutions for smaller projects and retail customers even more effectively.
Polish Team Champion
For the fans in Wrocław, 2021 was the year of speedway. Betard Sparta Wrocław had no equal on the track, and remained undefeated for most of the season, eventually winning the coveted title of Polish Champion. The Wrocław-based riders supported by Betard did extremely well in individual competitions, taking up half of the places in the world's top six.
Opening of new plants
The growing popularity of concrete prefabrication was an important stimulus for us to continue our dynamic development. In 2020, we opened 2 new locations in Kielce, expanding our offer to include road and bridge elements. The next step was a plant in Ostrów Wielkopolski, where prefabricated spun poles are manufactured. In 2024, we expanded our portfolio with a branch in Bydgoszcz specialising in the production of elements for the housing, industrial and civil engineering sectors. This way we have significantly increased our production capacity as well as the scope and territorial range of our offer within a few years.
