Alfa 1/1 expanded clay concrete hollow unit

Alfa 1/1 expanded clay blocks are used to build layered external load-bearing walls, internal load-bearing walls and partition walls. External walls designed as two-layer walls made of 24 cm wide blocks require 9 cm of polystyrene insulation. The thermal conductivity coefficient for the Alfa 1/1 block is 0.266 W/m²K, which, with cement-lime plaster on both sides and the use of 10 cm of insulation, results in a heat transfer coefficient of U=0.277 W/m²K.

Properties of expanded clay

Expanded clay blocks are made of a mass obtained from expanded clay grains of various fractions combined with cement grout.

The use of expanded clay aggregate makes the products practically light, while increasing their thermal and acoustic insulation parameters and resistance to external factors. Houses made of expanded clay concrete elements gain excellent thermal properties and appropriate indoor humidity, which translates into comfort of use.
