Alfa 1/1 slag concrete hollow block

Alfa 1/1 slag concrete hollow blocks are designed for layered external load-bearing walls, internal load-bearing walls and partition walls.

Insulation of hollow block walls

External walls designed as two-layer walls made of 24 cm wide blocks require 10 cm of polystyrene insulation. The thermal conductivity coefficient for the Alfa 1/1 block is 0.310 W/m²K, which, with cement-lime plaster on both sides and the use of 10 cm of insulation, results in a heat transfer coefficient of U=0.286 W/m²K.

It is not recommended to apply gypsum plaster directly to the surface of slag concrete elements. Cement or cement-lime rendering should be applied first.
