Block B-6 | 12 concrete

Concrete blocks are made as standard from C12/15 concrete suitably vibrated. We also produce higher strength components: C16/20 and C20/25. Blocks are used to build external load-bearing and curtain walls, internal load-bearing walls, foundations, basement walls, slotted walls and retaining walls. They can also be used to make fences and openwork walls.

Installation of concrete blocks

Products with a cuboid shape can be laid as elements with a width of 38 cm and 24 cm. The blocks are laid using cement or cement-lime mortar. Cement mortar is used for walls in contact with the ground. The walls are laid with full horizontal and vertical joints. When building foundation walls in buildings without a basement, the last layer of the wall should be a reinforced concrete ring made with the KNW system mould. Before installing vertical wall insulation below ground level, each wall is levelled with a thin layer of cement plaster in accordance with good building practice.
