Bridge beam DS

Prefabricated prestressed elements in a rectangular cross-section and a width of 89 cm. Beams used in single- and multi-span bridge structures designed for traffic load class A according to PN-85/S-10030 and for special vehicle load class 150. Manufactured according to typical catalogue sizes or on the basis of individual designs, the prefabricated units are designed for free-supported and tensioned spans of 6 and 9 m. The beams are made of C35/45 grade concrete. Ropes of 15.5 mm diameter, variety I, are used as diameter splices. The top surface of the prefabricated is roughened with the phase II reinforcement released and prepared for splicing. The side and bottom surfaces of the element are smooth and do not require plastering. Holes can be drilled in the beams to accommodate installation passages and accessories can be sunk for the installation of safety and hygiene equipment, the so-called ‘Kobolds’.
