Filigree slabs
Filigree floor slabs
Filigree reinforced concrete composite floors are the right choice for anyone who wants a fast and precise floor. The bold architectural forms currently being proposed by designers require the use of modern construction solutions, which filigree can meet in terms of floors. Their geometry is limited only by the architects' creative invention. They allow designers to accept complex static schemes and intricate load arrangements.
What are Filigree reinforced concrete floors made of
Filigree floors consist of prefabricated elements – floor slabs, additional reinforcement installed by the contractor on site and concrete poured on site, known as over concrete.
Prefabricated Filigree floor elements are made of reinforced concrete slabs that are 5 to 7 cm thick, including the main floor reinforcement and spatial steel trusses, partially embedded in the slab.
The thickness of the elements depends on the thickness of the reinforcement cover and the amount of reinforcement in the slab. The lattice girders give the prefabricated element the necessary rigidity during transport and installation of the floor, and also serve to connect the prefabricated element to the rest of the floor on site. The two layers of the floor are also connected by the rough and deliberately uneven surface of the prefabricated slab.
We produce individual filigree slabs in dimensions adapted to the geometry of the floor; for production and transport reasons, the basic widths of the slabs do not exceed 240 cm (or 250 cm, for the branch in Kielce); The lengths of the slabs correspond to the span of the floor. The amount of reinforcement and the technical parameters of the floor are determined in the design of filigree floor, which is developed individually for each structure.

TECHNICAL PARAMETERS
| NAME | LENGTH | WIDTH | THICKNESS | WEIGHT | SUPPORT | CONCRETE / STEEL | REI | REINFORCEMENT | OTHER |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Filigree floor slabs | Adapted to the span of the floor; the maximum length is limited only by the possibility of designing the floor structure (the length obtained by Betard is 12.6 m) | Basic width of the prefabricated slab – 240 cm (smaller widths made as needed, according to the executive design) | Thickness of the prefabricated slab – from 5 cm to 7 cm, depending on the degree of reinforcement and reinforcement cover | Slabs dead load - 125-175 kg/m², depending on the slab thickness / possibility to reduce the weight of the ceiling (reducing the amount of concrete poured on site and the loads transferred to the structure) by using polystyrene inserts attached to the slabs with filigree | The mounting support of the filigree slabs is determined by the floor design. Possible ‘support’ on the wall or beam – from 0 cm to 4 cm | Prefabricated concrete - grade C25/30 and above. Reinforcement steel grade AIII-N 8 | Fire resistance class: REI 60 and above, according to project requirements | Option to reinforce the floor in two directions; in the case of floors working in two directions, reinforcement in the second direction is laid on prefabricated elements on the construction site (in this case, mesh is not required at the slab joints) | Possibility to give a negative deflection arrow. Possibility to eliminate thermal bridges by using filigree balcony inserts Isokorb type insulation in the slabs |
