Platform plate

Prefabricated platform boards are a key element of the infrastructure of railway stations and stops, meeting stringent technical and aesthetic requirements. Designed for use on platforms, they are characterised by durability, safety and an aesthetically pleasing appearance, making them ideal for modern public transport facilities.

The elements are designed in accordance with Technical Conditions Id-22, issued by PKP Polskie Linie Kolejowe S.A.. Each platform slab has bevelled top edges. The platform slabs in the basic variant - with exposed aggregate - are made of concrete class C40/50, while the slabs in the sufficient variant are made of concrete class C30/37 or higher.

The production of the platform boards takes place under controlled factory conditions, which guarantees their high quality and uniformity. The production process includes the preparation of moulds and dies of the appropriate size and layout of the warning elements, reinforcement and filling with concrete mix.

The prefabricated platform slabs are transported using vehicles with trailers adapted to their size and weight. The elements are adequately protected during transport to ensure that they remain intact until they are unloaded on site.

The prefabricated platform slabs are laid on a pre-prepared base. The slabs are installed at the correct gradient to ensure drainage next to the track Precise installation guarantees the safety and comfort of the platforms for passengers.

Platform slab - sufficient variant

The slabs in the sufficient variant have a non-slip grooved surface obtained from the reproduction of special moulds, a yellow warning strip and a strip with convex elements providing information for the blind.

Platform slab - basic variant:

The boards are characterised by increased resistance to aggressive chemicals, abrasion and mechanical damage. Exposed aggregate on the surface of the slab adds to the aesthetic value. The yellow line of the warning stripe and the tactile stripe (with tabs), for the blind and visually impaired, are made of plastic (the strips are embedded in the prefabricated material at the component manufacturing stage).
