Project description
The interior design was part of a project carried out by Projekt Stodoła on its property. The Betard paving elements used here are an aesthetic complement to the building's characteristic architecture, whose modern simplicity harmonises with the attractively integrated classic wooden accents on the façade.
The pavement leading to the front door is made of the popular Pianola paving stones. It is a system consisting of 4 rectangular elements of varying lengths, from 22.5 cm to as much as 56.5 cm. On the driveway, a non-standard solution was used in the form of large square Quattro slabs. Smaller formats are generally used in areas intended for vehicle traffic, so it is particularly important in such a situation that the slabs have the appropriate thickness (minimum 8 cm) and are laid on a properly designed and constructed subbase. It is also important that subsequent use is limited to passenger vehicles weighing less than 3.5 tonnes.
Both products, Pianola and Quatro, have a characteristic, slightly rough, washed surface in an original colour scheme: punto grano. This gives the interior design a harmonious and elegant look. At the same time, a clear boundary has been drawn between the pavement and the driveway in the form of a narrow strip with dotted plantings filled with light-coloured pebbles and larger stones.
Products used:
- They combine aesthetics with the comfort of the surface
- They blend attractively with the building
- They form traffic routes leading to the building
