Description of execution
For Intercor, we supplied precast concrete components for noise barriers. The task was carried out under contract: ‘Construction of the S7 expressway, section Warsaw – Grójec’.
Our task was to produce acoustic panels according to the design specifications, which, in addition to the technical parameters, also specified the finish of the elements. The prefabricated elements were mass-coloured to a brownish colour. The purpose of this treatment was to adapt the elements to the surroundings and to ensure an aesthetic solution.
The production specifications included panels of two different heights: 0.5 metres and 1 metre. In total, we produced more than 21,000 square metres of acoustic panels.
In addition to the acoustic panels, we also produced more than 2,300 foundation beams, which are necessary for the stable and permanent fixing of the acoustic panels.
Thanks to the prefabricated elements supplied by our company, we have contributed to the reduction of noise generated by road traffic on the S7 expressway and the improvement of the comfort of residents and road users.
Our prefabricated elements not only fulfilled the function of acoustic protection, but also blended in aesthetically with the surroundings.
