Description
This property is in a single-family housing estate. Its front perimeter is a fence built with hollow blocks and Piazzo caps in a distinct and refined onyx colour. The fence secures and shields off the property, but the panels between the columns prevent complete isolation from the surrounding areas. All products have been picked for aesthetic harmony to form a modernly-styled whole which matches the building well.
The pavement on site was designed likewise. The driveway, the footpath from the front gate to the building, and the verges on both sides of the building were built with the Urbanica paving blocks, also in onyx. This system included 4 rectangular formats with a subtle micro-chamfer along the edges. The fit-all shape and optimum aspect ratio make this solution easy to be used in various settings. The rectangular format was also used behind the house, where the Urbanica blocks are joined by traditional Holland blocks in graphite.
The concrete surfaces have been laid out to provide convenient paved circulation paths for the occupants of this property, the majority of which is lush with the natural green tone of grass.
