Betard, one of the leading manufacturers of prefabricated concrete products in Poland, is consistently expanding its product range, including in the area of products for railway construction. Among the company's existing customers is Trakcja S.A., which, as one of the largest companies operating in the infrastructure construction and energy sectors in the country, is an important recipient of platform elements.
As part of a new partnership, Trakcja will supply accessories for ETK-type spun concrete pillars manufactured at the Betard plant in Ostrów Wielkopolski and will also become a key purchaser of these accessories. The companies' joint plans go even further, including the prospect of working together on the construction of railway infrastructure for the High Speed Rail Network in Poland, which is set to further strengthen their position in this construction market sector.
Establishing a partnership with Trakcja S.A. is an important step in the development of our company. ‘It allows us to expand our offer and actively contribute to the creation of a modern railway infrastructure in Poland’, says Paweł Bartusiak, Infrastructure Director at Betard. The plant in Ostrów Wielkopolski specialises in the production of E, Ek, EW, ER, EMS type energy prestressed concrete spun poles and ŻN type reinforced concrete poles. It has the appropriate technical facilities and an experienced crew and is fully equipped to produce ETK traction poles.
‘We are convinced that our joint activities with Betard will contribute to the implementation of many key infrastructure projects. This partnership will allow us to further develop our offer and strengthen our position on the market', adds Bartłomiej Cygan, Management Board Member and Technical Director at Trakcja.
Both companies are looking forward to the implementation of further projects, which will bring tangible benefits both for their operations and for the entire railway infrastructure sector in Poland.
