Beams are structural elements that can function as simply supported or fixed, depending on the adopted static schemes. Beams typically receive loads from the floor surface and transfer them as a concentrated force to columns or walls.

Production process

Beams are manufactured in specially prepared moulds with various cross-sections in a horizontal position. In addition to the designed reinforcement, beams may feature the necessary accessories, such as installation sleeves or openings.

Production capabilities

We offer beams in any range of cross-sectional dimensions. The ends of the elements can be shaped with 'notches' to transfer greater transverse forces. We produce beams with various cross-sections, as solid and partially prefabricated, for later installation on the construction site.

Design capabilities

To prefabricate reinforced concrete beams, we use concrete grades from C20/25 to C55/67, and reinforcement steel grade AIIIN. The elements we offer can be connected to the structure through concrete topping (partially prefabricated elements), support on a column bracket (connection with a pin), or screwed reinforcement joints to connect the reinforcement. Depending on the shape, we can design the following beams: rectangular, L-shaped (with a side), and inverted T-shaped. L-shaped and inverted T-shaped beams are designed as rectangular beams with suspended brackets for floor slabs.

Transport

Elements are separated from each other by special spacers in the form of edge beams or wooden spacers. Beams should be carefully laid next to each other. In the case of long beams, it may be necessary to use specialist equipment - trailers with adjustable length, the so-called stretch trailers.

Installation

Depending on the type of beams, installation may be done by placing the beam on reinforcement bars or using supports — positioning them appropriately and later pouring the connection with the ceiling, for example.
