Prefabricated façade elements most often have a decorative role and are also cladding elements for the façade, protecting the insulation layer. They are usually created from architectural concrete mixtures creating smooth surfaces or reproducing any textures obtained using suitable matrices, e.g. wood textures, stone surfaces, as well as modern graphic structures.
Concrete façades are characterised by high durability and resistance to weather conditions.
The colouring of the elements can be adapted to the requirements of the project by using appropriate pigments, aggregates and/or cement to give the desired colour. They can be subjected to different types of treatment through sandblasting, washing, grinding, etching, etc.
They are mainly used as façade elements for office, retail or public buildings.
