Leca®BLOK
Expanded clay Leca® blocks 24/20 acoustic BLOCKS enable the construction of walls with high acoustic insulation parameters against ‘airborne’ sound. The elements are suitable, for example, for the construction of external walls of residential buildings, schools and hospitals located in areas with high noise levels, e.g. near roads or railway lines.
The blocks should be laid with a full vertical and horizontal joint using cement-lime mortar. The resulting walls are covered with gypsum plaster on both sides, which allows for R A1' to be achieved at 52-55 dB. The use of cement-lime plaster ensures even better sound insulation.
