Leca® BLOK foundation block 5

Leca® expanded clay concrete blocks BLOK foundation blocks with a minimum strength of 5 MPa are designed for the construction of foundation walls and basement walls. They can be used to build walls with a thickness of 38 and 24 cm. They have four times better thermal insulation than concrete blocks.

Building walls with foundation blocks

To build walls, use cement mortar and build them with full horizontal and vertical joints. After the walls have been erected, they must be plastered according to building standards, and vertical damp-proofing must be installed below ground level.

Leca® BLOK (formerly Optiroc BLOK) is a system of lightweight expanded clay concrete blocks. When used correctly, they can be used to construct all types of building walls.
