Production process Prestressed beam
The beams are manufactured in specially prepared moulds with various cross-sections. The prestressed elements has tendons located at the bottom of the cross-section to balance the loads acting from above. After the structural reinforcement has been completed and the mould has been prepared, the tendons are pulled from one retaining block to another and tensioned on them. The tensioning of the tendons (strings) is done using dedicated tensioning presses before concreting. After achieving the appropriate concrete strength, the tension is released, transferring the forces to the concrete.
