Toothed beam

Toggle beams are prefabricated structural elements used in sports and auditorium facilities. Their main function is to support the prefabricated grandstands through characteristic stepped undercuts at the top. These beams are mounted at the correct angle on the columns and are an important load-bearing element of the structure.

TECHNICAL DETAILS

Production process of Toothed beam

The toothed beams are manufactured in specially prepared moulds with different geometries, in a recumbent position. Appropriate reinforcement and additional accessories such as mounting sleeves or installation holes are included in the production process. Each component undergoes quality control to verify quality and compliance with design requirements.

Production capabilities of Toothed beam

The parameters of the toothed beams are customised to individual designs, allowing them to be used extensively in different types of facilities. The only limitations are the transport dimensions and the permitted tonnage, which determine the maximum dimensions and weight of the individual components.

Design capabilities of Toothed beam

Thanks to their flexible manufacturing capabilities, the gear beams can have different geometries to suit the specifics of a project. These components can be fitted with additional accessories such as mounting sleeves or installation holes, allowing them to be more easily assembled and integrated into other parts of the structure.

Transport of Toothed beam

The toothed beams are transported in a side-by-side arrangement with appropriate spacing by using edge or wooden spacers. In the case of long elements, specialised transport, so-called stretcher bars, are used to ensure the stability and safety of the prefabricated elements being transported.

Installation of Toothed beam

The installation of the toothed beams consists of placing them on previously prepared supports. Most commonly, they are supported by a column support and a foundation or sub-foundation. The connection of the elements is made using steel tubes (robust) placed in the beam and concreted starter rods (jigs) in the supports, which guarantees the stability and durability of the entire structure.
