Description of execution
In Kłokoczyce, Wrocław, a multifunctional sports hall is being built as part of the ‘Lower Silesia for the Queen of Sports’ programme, where not only athletes will train, but also the Ślęza Wrocław basketball team will play their matches. The hall will guarantee athletes the use of a comprehensive athletics infrastructure, a gym, changing rooms and sanitary facilities, as well as rooms for physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
Athletes will be able to use, for example, a 200-metre four-lane running track, a long jump, high jump and pole vault area, and a shot put area. There are also plans for a professionally equipped fitness area and gyms.
For this project, we manufactured and supplied prefabricated: columns, stair treads and prestressed hollow core units.
We supplied 45 cantilevered poles over 11m in length. The steel roof structure and wall braces were attached to the columns. Each column was equipped with a set of brands embedded in the prefabricated element. Fourteen prefabricated staircases and over 1,600 m² of prestressed hollow core units were installed. Our company was also responsible for the workshop design of the prefabricated elements.
