Description of execution
Due to the intended use of the building, the elements were exposed to chemical and physical environmental influences:
- corrosion caused by carbonation
- regular freezing and thawing
- excessive exposure of the elements to abrasion.
Due to the aggressive chemical environment, a special sulphate-resistant SR/HSR cement was used to prepare the prefabricated elements. Required exposure class of prefabricated elements: XC3, XF2, XA2, XM3.
The building was constructed in a mixed wall-column structural arrangement.
A total of 27 columns and 266 foot columns with a length of 8.5 metres were delivered for the project. 329 walls with a thickness of 30 cm and a height of 9 m were constructed, as well as 92 crane run beams with a length of over 8 m and 12 front beams with dimensions of 8×3.2 m and a weight of ~24 tonnes. The floors in most areas were made of 200 hollow core units. The total floor area of the prefabricated structure was 4,150 m². A total of 337 m² of 20 cm thick prestressed solid slabs were installed in the part of the building that is subjected to the highest loads during operation. In front of the building, 13 retaining walls with a height of 2 m and a thickness of 32 cm were designed and installed.
The production and assembly took 4 months.
