Description of execution
For the largest exporter in the European Union and the world's leading manufacturer of lithium-ion batteries for electric cars, we produced and installed prefabricated concrete elements during the expansion of the complex.
As part of the partnership, our company was responsible for the production of over 1,500 prefabricated elements, their transport and assembly, as well as the execution of monolithic work.
We also developed a workshop design for the foundations, prefabricated elements, steel structure (including wind posts, steel transoms, roof bracing, entrance roofs) and floor on the ceilings.
The project was a complicated process in terms of logistics and delivery schedule due to the production of prefabricated elements in our four branches in Długołęka, Wieruszów, Przywory and Kielce. The assembly of the elements took place in a cascade manner, therefore the lack of one element could cause the work to stop – the structure was assembled in a given box under the roof.
Due to the oversized dimensions of the elements, e.g. columns with a length of 26-27m, transport was carried out on specialised stretches.
The prestressed beams were also noteworthy, which, due to the very high loads, had 49 prestressing strands, each with a tensile force of 195kN, which gives a total tensile force of nearly 1000 tonnes! The stairwells were realised in a cantilever system, i.e. there are no cantilever brackets in the walls to support the landings.
Quantities:
- 185 columns
- 300 reinforced and prestressed concrete beams
- 165 prestressed girders
- 292 prestressed purlins
- 500 walls
- 80 base walls
- 84 stair flights and landings
- 40 cover slabs
- 3 docks
- 24,000 m² of prestressed hollow core units
