Description of execution
The project was carried out by RexBud, which, as the General Contractor, supervised all construction work. The 60,000 m² logistics centre was designed and built in accordance with logistics and storage requirements.
The prefabricated elements delivered were precisely tailored to the design requirements, which allowed for quick assembly and minimisation of construction work costs.
For this investment, we produced and delivered:
- 366 columns,
- 202 base walls
- 68 loading docks,
- 25 roof girders,
- 44 retaining walls,
- hollow core units.
The use of prefabricated concrete elements allowed for:
shorter completion time – the prefabricated elements were ready for assembly immediately after delivery to the construction site, eliminating the need for lengthy formwork and reinforcement binding on site,
increased precision of execution – the production of prefabricated elements took place in controlled factory conditions, which ensured their high quality and dimensional accuracy,
cost optimisation – the reduction of wet work and the shortening of the construction schedule translated into savings in labour and material costs,
increased durability of the structure – the use of high-strength concrete and corrosion-protected reinforcement ensured the high durability of the building.
The use of prefabricated concrete elements significantly influenced the speed and quality of the Hillwood & LCube Wrocław East Logistics Centre. This is another example of how modern prefabrication supports the dynamic development of the logistics sector by providing durable and high-quality construction solutions.
