Description of execution
Last year, we once again had the opportunity to participate in the expansion of the Nord manufacturing facility. In 2020, we produced and delivered prefabricated elements for a construction site in Nowa Sól on behalf of Ambit (construction: production hall – NORD Drive Systems – Betard). In 2023, we delivered prefabricated elements to Wiechlice on behalf of the same general contractor.
As part of the expansion, the production hall, warehouse and staff facilities were enlarged. An additional 20,000 m² of space has been put into use.
We supplied more than 400 prefabricated elements for this project:
- 153 columns
- 104 walls
- 75 prestressed beams
- 2 reinforced concrete girders
- 32 prestressed beams
- 7 reinforced concrete beams
- 30 beam walls
The 24-metre-long, prestressed, gable-shaped, T-section beams are particularly noteworthy. These elements were 1.8 metres high. The roof girders were connected to the columns with tongue and groove joints. The prefabricated elements were equipped with the necessary installation accessories as well as additional components, including anchor rails along the entire length of the columns.
