Description of execution
In the first half of 2024, we completed the delivery of prefabricated elements for the construction of a production and storage hall in Strzegom.
The project required a comprehensive approach to design, production and logistics. Our manufacturing facilities in Długołęka and Wieruszów, responsible for the delivery of prefabricated structural elements, ensured timeliness, precision and the highest quality standards at every stage of their production.
The biggest challenge was the prestressed girders, including the record-breaking girders with a length of up to 35.92 m and a height of up to 1.5 m. Thanks to the use of advanced concrete prestressing technology, they achieve large spans and high load-bearing capacity.
As part of the project, for which Akrom was the general contractor, we prepared detailed project documentation. Our team of engineers and designers meticulously analysed the technical specifications and the investor's requirements to create a solid foundation for production. Detailed strength and functional analyses were carried out to ensure that all elements met the required construction and strength standards.
The production included a wide range of prefabricated elements.
We produced:
- 62 base walls,
- 94 columns
- 45 reinforced concrete beams,
- 4 solid walls,
- 45 compound walls, providing an underground floor with a social area,
- 16 stair flights and landings,
- 8 retaining walls,
- 2 air intakes
Our plants in Długołęka and Wieruszów use modern prefabrication technologies, including advanced production lines, which ensure high precision and efficiency. The production process includes, among other things, thorough mixing of concrete ingredients and quality control at every stage, which translates into high strength and durability of prefabricated elements. We also attach great importance to the efficient organisation of transport in order to deliver products to construction sites on time and safely.
