Description of execution
The construction of a production and storage hall with staff facilities and offices for Bovelli, a manufacturer of beds and mattresses, is nearing completion near Gniezno. We delivered the prefabricated structure for the building on behalf of Real Leszno.
The hall is supported by 44 columns with a length of over 10 metres and a cross-section of 500 x 500 mm. Seven docks have been installed between the columns. The roof structure over the production and storage area is made of prestressed gable girders with a variable height of up to 1.30 m and a span of nearly 30 m.
The roof elements have been optimised with the objective of reducing the weight of the structure as well as the investment costs – they have openings along the entire length of the girder.
1000 m2 of hollow core units were installed above the social and office area.
